WELCOME!! We strive to teach you how to train your dog with the newest, positive motivation methods. Our goal is to help you and your dog build a relationship of love, trust and respect. While achieving good manners and reshaping undesirable behaviors. Our ultimate goal is to help your dog become a member of the family for life!

The school is owned and run by Dee Durland, with the help of some great friends. Dee has been training dogs since the 80's. Competing in dog sports like obedience and hunt tests. She has been teaching others how to train, work, play and live with their dog for over 10 years. Dee has been a certified pet dog trainer since 2002.

We offer:

Puppy Obedience Classes: a 7 week class that includes teaching basic skills like sit, down and stay with hand signals. We also teach come when called and walk loosely on a leash. We also cover problems like jumping on people, play biting and other undesirable behaviors. We work on socializing and manners, helping the shy dog out of the shell and a rambunctious dog try to control themselves. All done in an easy, motivational way that is fun for the puppies, minimizing pressure.

Basic Adult Obedience Classes: a 7 week class that includes basic skills similar to the puppy class with stronger emphasis on the skill that an adult can understand and handle. More attention given to skills like stay and leash walking.

Intro to Agility: a fun filled class teaching and introducing agility obstacles and commands. (Yes, just like the agility seen on TV! Jumps and tunnels and poles...Oh my!) Dog's must have basic obedience skill to participate.

Advanced Agility: an ongoing group of dogs and trainers building skills and learning courses and handling skills. Dogs and handlers must be approved to join this class. Click here to see some of our agility photos.

Canine Good Citizen Class: this class is a 4 week class to help prepare dogs and handlers to take the AKC Canine Good Citizens test. (CGC is a certification program that is designed to reward dogs who have good manners at home and in the community. The Canine Good Citizen Program is a two-part program that stresses responsible pet ownership for owners and basic good manners for dogs. All dogs who pass the 10-step CGC test may receive a certificate from the American Kennel Club. It is not limited to purebred or AKC register dogs).

Other classes occasionally available: Pet therapy training - preparing dogs to become therapy dogs and testing. Competition training - helping prepare dogs and handlers to compete in AKC, UKC or other competition obedience.
